An animated tour covering the whole fort during which different aspects from the daily life of the Victorian garrison are reconstructed by our resident historical re-enactment team. The tour will also include skill-at-arms displays, military drill demonstrations, an English commentary and the viewing of a 20-minute film about the history of the fort and its monster gun. The tour starts with firing of a period cannon, an 8-inch Rifled Muzzle Loading howitzer.

Tours are held from Monday to Saturday between 14.00 hours to 16.00 hours and include a cavalry display. This tour is at no extra charge as it is included in the normal entrance tickets. Members of the public are lowed to fire the soldiers′ rifles.
