The Malta Film Expo is a 3 day event celebrating the many facets of filmmaking and film appreciation today, including exhibition areas, workshops, competitions, seminars and also educational activities. The Expo brings together enthusiasts, film servicing companies, distributors, educational institutions, film event and festival organisers, funding bodies, government entities, academics and the general public. Speakers will be both local and international.

The event is organised by the Malta Film Foundation, organisers of the Malta Short Film Festival (www.maltashortfilmfest.com) for the past 9 years and the Malta Youth Film Festival and is supported  by Arts Council Malta through the Cultural Partnership Agreement and forms part of the Spazju Kreattiv programme.

The Malta Film Expo 2018 is endorsed by the Valletta 2018 Foundation.
